If there are fewer than 10 registrations for a class (or 4 registrations for semi-private), Énergie Sud reserves the right to withdraw the course from its schedule for the remainder of the session.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

SPIN VELO CARDIO

Whether you’re new to spinning or an experienced athlete on the road or track, this course is for you. The spinning instructor will lead you through hills, intervals, and flat surfaces as music keeps you energized, and make sure you have the variations you need for your condition. You’ll have an opportunity to leave your comfort zone, from the comfort of your bike seat. The spinning bike has the same components and geometry as a road bike, and can be adapted to everyone. Intensity level: For all.

ZUMBA

Zumba, incorporating a Colombian dance style, is a mixture of Latin dance, fitness, and aerobics. Zumba will tone all your muscles as you have fun. There’s no need to be a good dancer to participate in the Zumba class; our cheerful, energetic teachers will immediately put you at ease and you’ll burn energy without even thinking about it.

SANTÉ BOOMER 55 YEARS+

These classes, aimed at people aged 55 and over, offer diversified training and are led by a kinesiologist or certified trainer. Moving to upbeat music, you’ll do exercises that increase your strength, balance, and coordination. With this physical training, you will also maintain bone and joint health, in a group that shares your motivations. Intensity level: beginner.

PUMP

Pump classes are focused on complete muscle tone and muscle building. A motivational instructor will lead you as you use all your major muscle groups.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING (CROSS-TRAINING)

Cross-training is training that uses a variety of adapted functional movements. All classes are programmed and planned by a kinesiologist. Three levels are offered, to suit participants’ goals, abilities, and motivation. The classes are for a maximum of 12 people for better supervision. They are led by a kinesiologist in a safe environment to optimize results.

SYNRGY: This type of class is an introduction to functional training. The main activity is on circuit training stations adapted to beginning and intermediate clients. Many parameters change for each session, and fun is guaranteed.

X-ZONE: This class is an adapted version of CrossFit. You’ll learn the basic movements for this type of training while receiving advice and support from our coaches/kinesiologists. This class requires basic knowledge of functional training movements and will take you to a whole new level. 

X-ZONE Advanced: This one-hour class goes into depth on the techniques of different functional training, weightlifting, and gymnastics exercises. Under the kinesiologist’s supervision, you’ll increase your weight loads and test your personal limits.

 

YOGA

Hatha Flow Yoga is great for all newcomers and regulars! Guided and supervised by a kinesiologist, the session combines postural exercises, specific alignments and understanding of a variety of concepts related to human movement.
